The Little Zoo that came to visit....
We had a great morning for our end-of-year treat!
Gemma from ‘Little Zoo to You’, brought lots of creatures to see us and she introduced each one by telling a story based around The Gruffalo. There was a Rabbit, an African land Snail, a Millipede, a tree Frog, a bearded Dragon and a Snake! The children waited patiently and showed lots of interest and excitement.

Learning about musical instruments
Every week, the children have been enjoying learning about the different parts of a variety of musical instruments with ‘Cello Tales with Ailsa’. They have been dancing, singing and learning to move their bodies in different ways using lots of musical instruments, scarves and bean bags. Learning new songs, instruments, colours and dances through story songs each week.

The Easter Bunny
Mel & Lyndsey looked after the Easter Bunny when he came to visit the children at Easter. Of course the Easter Bunny brought some little treats for the children.
See you next year Mr Bunny.

I will learn to read but first i need to...
Before a little person needs to read there are lots of skills that they learn through play and interaction...

Holiday Club
All schools and nurseries are planning their end of term activities for the children before the summer break. We will be running our usual action-packed, fun-filled Holiday Club, of course, but the first week will be closed to the Fun Track children (all nursery and baby settings running as normal). We are having some very exciting renovation works. More details to follow.

Forest School
Our children have learned many new outdoor skills since attending Forest School with Scout Road Academy. The children go every week and there is a different theme each week - rain or shine.

Outdoor Play Area
Our play area has had a new rubberised floor. The old floor was removed and the area was refurbished and the new pattern and colours laid. It was paid for with fundraising monies (thank you) and a contribution from the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge.
New outdoor equipment will keep arriving over the next few weeks. The children love it!
