Welcome

We RE-BRANDED from Mytholmroyd Playgroup,

Pre-School & Fun Track out of school club to

Little Village Learners, Fun Track-Out of School Club in September 2018.

We've been here for 45 years and employ 22 dedicated staff, who are highly trained and mostly long serving, and we provide an unbeatable service to over 90 families.

We care for children from age 14 weeks to age 11. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Guidelines for development and learning and have an Ofsted Good rating (2023). We encourage our happy children to socialise with other children and learn skills through free play and focused activities.

SAND AREA

We have a great sand table for all the children to enjoy...

SNACK TIME

We believe in a healthy snack.. A variety of fruits with milk or water...

READING

We have a cosy chill out area, kept quiet for reading time...

MARK MAKING

We encourage our children to paint and draw with their wild imaginations, they produce great things for their parents to enjoy...

DINNER TIME

Our very own in house kitchen to make tasty, healthy meals for all our children

WATER AREA

We have a fantastic new water area for the under 2's, a large water wall for the children to explore

"Quality teaching"

Children enjoy their time at the setting and supported by good quality teaching, develop positive attitudes to learning. As a result, they make good progression relation to their starting points.

The warm and welcoming environment helps children feel safe and secure which successfully develops their confidence and supports their emotional well-being.

Management and staff fully understand how to promote the health and safety of the children in their care. Safeguarding procedures are robust and security within the setting is a high priority.

Partnerships with parents are good and are integral to enabling staff to effectively meet children's individual needs. This results in a collaborative approach to children's care, learning and development.
